These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at paintersdc.com (the "Website"), operated by Painters DC ("Painters DC," "we," "us," or "our"), a residential and commercial painting contractor serving Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Acceptance of Terms

By using the Website, requesting an estimate, or otherwise interacting with us through the Website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

Our Services

Painters DC provides residential and commercial painting and related services, including interior painting, cabinet painting, drywall repair, wallpaper installation, trim, crown molding, wainscoting, surface preparation, and exterior painting. The Website provides information about our services and allows you to request estimates and contact us. Use of the Website does not create a contract for painting services. Any painting work is governed by a separate written agreement between you and Painters DC.

Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Website in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or related systems
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Website
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Copy, scrape, or harvest content or data without our permission
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, page layouts, and the "Painters DC" name and branding — is owned by or licensed to Painters DC and is protected by intellectual property laws. Estimates, Quotes & Scheduling

Estimate and quote requests submitted through the Website are requests only and do not obligate either party. Estimates and quotes are based on the information you provide and on a visual assessment, and they may change after an in-person evaluation or once work begins and actual conditions are known. Pricing, availability, and scheduling are subject to confirmation. A project is only confirmed when both parties enter into a written agreement.

Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when requesting estimates or communicating with us, including your contact details and a truthful description of your property and project. Estimates and scheduling rely on the accuracy of the information you submit.

Text Messaging Terms

Program: Painters DC Project and Appointment Updates.

How to opt in: You may voluntarily opt in by checking the separate, optional SMS consent checkbox in our public Calendly estimate-booking flow. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is not required to book an estimate or purchase services.

Message types: With your consent, Painters DC may send SMS or MMS messages related to your requested estimate or painting project, including estimate and contract links, appointment confirmations and reminders, schedule changes, crew-arrival or ETA notices, project updates, invoice notifications, deposit or balance reminders, payment confirmations, and customer-support communications. These are transactional and customer-care communications, not promotional marketing.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on appointment and project activity. Charges: Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-out & help: Reply STOP to any message to opt out; after opting out you will receive a confirmation and no further messages unless you later provide new consent. Reply HELP for assistance, visit our contact page, or call (929) 930-0166.

Voluntary consent: SMS/MMS consent is not a condition of booking, purchase, or service; you may complete the Calendly booking without selecting the SMS consent checkbox.

Carrier disclaimer: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy: Mobile information and SMS opt-in/consent data are handled per our Privacy Policy and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Painters DC may modify or discontinue the messaging program, subject to applicable law, and will update these Terms when material changes are made.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We provide these links for convenience only and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

Disclaimers

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Painters DC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Website or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute relating to the Website or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the District of Columbia.
